Me? Blogging? Pigs must be flying somewhere...

I guess listing a little background would be good before I started anymore posts.  As some of my friends here at home already know, I decided to attempt so-called "blog-by-email" during my upcoming tour in Iraq/Afghanistan, but my first installment was almost 10MB in size... needless to say, a blog will be much more managable.
